Ryanair flies to La Rochelle daily. La Rochelle is approximately 50 minutes from the retreat. Early bookings can secure the cheapest seats.

Fontenay Le Comte is the nearest big town with supermarkets, cinema, cafes etc. It has beautiful architecture and a relaxed pace of life. Saturday is market day. The church of Notre-Dame affords a fine view of the town from the top of its tower.
